What do I need to have with me?

Bring comfortable shoes or sneakers, something in which your foot and wrist will be well protected.

For how long will I be up in the air?

Depending on the thermal and weather conditions the flight time is approximately 15 min., sometimes longer sometimes shorter…

Are there any restrictions?

Yes, there are restrictions about the weight. The minimal weight is 12 kg., and the maximum weight is 130 kg.

How to get to the starting point, and from where do we climb?

We pick you up from your hotel or the suit where you are staying, and after the end of the adventure we take you back to the hotel.

How do we know if the program will be realized or canceled?

Before the final reservation of the program, we make a weather check and let you know which days are favorable for the program to be completed successfully, if one of those days you are free and the reservation suits you, we realize the flight, if it doesn’t we will wait for a another good day during your stay in Ohrid.

Can I bring a friend to watch?

This program is an alternative for us and for you.When the weather conditions are not good for flying in National park Galicica we can fly here. The take-off place is located in Jablanica Mountain, near Struga.
But it is also important to say that during the driving with the JEEP to the take-off place you will have unforgettable moments. The Jablanica Mountain abounds with high and dense forest , old Macedonian villages, which we will see during the journey.

What to Expect

Our drivers will take you from your hotel or apartment in Ohrid or Struga and they will take you to the take-off place in Jablanica Mountain near Struga.

If you choose this type of Program, you will get driving through the forest in the Jablanica Mountain with Jeep, so that’s why you will get 2 in 1 program, Jeep Safari & Paragliding.

– During the flight you can see whole Ohrid Lake (The City of Struga and Ohrid together).
– Longer flight time
– This program gives us opportunity to feel more adrenaline by acrobatic flight.

The take off place is located in the highest spot, 1700m ASL, where we can go with JEEP and it has got the best view in the area.

At the take-off, after a ten minutes briefing our professional tandem pilot will prepare you for taking-off and landing.

Both of you, the passenger (you) and the flight instructor, have got their own comfortable harness and other safe equipments. During the flight, you can make conversation with the pilot and you can ask everything you want.
The duration of the flight is from 15 – 30 minutes. It depends of the weather conditions.

We have got several landing places. Which one will be chose depends of the flight and weather conditions. We usually land on the beach in front of the Hotel Izgrev or behind the hotel.

Terms and Conditions

It is very important for us to know when you arrive and when you leave.
If you want to experience exciting Tandem paragliding flight, you must make reservation at the beginning of your staying in Ohrid, because flying depends of the weather conditions.
Fly Ohrid has right to cancel or change the date of the reservation of Tandem flights in order of the weather conditions.
If there are some changes you will be inform on time.
